I always wanted to be an astronaut as kid. It wasn’t until I took my first photo as a wee kid, grabbing my sisters camera out of her hand while she was carrying me, that my interest began to grow. Living in various countries around the world, armed with my first camera (so that I would keep my sticky fingers off my dad’s precious Leica cameras) I began to “shoot what you see!” Witnessing the invasion of Cyprus, not really knowing what was going on, through to the present refugee crisis in Europe, my interest in events has grown. It has taken me on a path from photojournalism, to portraits, to brand identities and feeling at home in the various demonstrations that have been taking place in London. I am currently working on a short movie to see how much more I can get out of cameras.

If you’re curious about my first ever photo, it was of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II. I hope to take a second one of her very soon!

So, grab yourself a cup of tea and have a cheeky wee browse through my website to see just a few examples of what I’ve been up to.

PS: I no longer want to be an astronaut, I’m not great with heights!
